A 2005 rebuild by Italian architect, Lorenzo Bellini, the Falkensteiner Palace Hotel displays modern Art Deco style in the historic city of Vienna. It contains 117 guestrooms spread over 6 storeys. 90 of the rooms are for non-smokers. The accommodation comes in two types: "Biedermeier" rooms and "Timeless Nobility" rooms. In the "Biedermeier" rooms, glass cabinets, chests of drawers, round tables and chairs in an authentic design create a wonderful elegance and atmosphere. The "Timeless Nobility" rooms are distinguished by the use of light wood and soft colours together with an elegantly classic design. The bathrooms, with under-floor heating, are separated from the other rooms by a frosted-glass wall, which creates a light and friendly area. The hotel offers a richly varied Continental breakfast buffet daily, with a healthy organic corner. Small refreshments and snacks are also served at the lounge bar with its unique, low-level bar counter. |
