Europa hotel
The Europa Hotel is housed in a block-like, glass and steel building with a sheltering parapet that extends over the pavement almost to the edge of the street. The small lobby designed in a modern style, with a modest seating area, and leads through to the hotel's own Viennese coffee shop. The 116 guestrooms are generally large and feature minimalist Scandinavian décor. The en suite bathrooms are, by contrast, fairly small, but clean and well maintained. The hotel offers a generous Continental buffet breakfast in its bright café, which has large windows overlooking all the bustling activity on the Kartnerstrasse. The back of the hotel faces the Neuer Markt, a quiet, pretty square whose focal point is the Kaisergruft, the final resting place of several Habsburg rulers. |
