Am Schubertring
The Am Schubertring Hotel is housed in a late-19th century building, which boasts considerable Viennese flair, especially in its use of Art Nouveau and Biedermeier-style furnishings. From the reception a lift takes guests straight up to all 39 guestrooms. Medium sized and comfortable, the rooms feature elegant furniture, authentic Iranian carpets, paintings and antique mirrors. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. The top-floor rooms command beautiful views over St. Stephen's Cathedrale, Schwarzenbergplatz or Beethoven Park. Decorated with warm, subdued colours, in the style of 19th century architect Adolf Loos, the cosy Schubert Bar invites guests to relax and take a drink or a snack. The hotel also offers a Continental buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room, which is furnished like a classic Viennese coffee house. |
