Sofitel Atrium Hotel
The Sofitel Atrium Hotel is housed in a modern tower block dominated by a frosted glass façade. The spectacular 10-storey atrium, with a terrace along one wall and a balcony around it, features glass-capsule elevators, cascading tropical greenery and towering California date palms, with a model of an early aeroplane suspended above it all. The 350 medium sized guestrooms feature fresh décor in pastel shades, complemented by light wood furniture. All are clean and well maintained, as are the small en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s Paris-Budapest Café offers a fusion of French, Asian, Mediterranean and Hungarian cuisine prepared in a show kitchen "theatre" for all to see. Alternatively, the Bibliotek Lounge awaits guests with a wide selection of Ronnefeldt aromatic teas, infusions, Malongo coffee specialities and delicious home made desserts concocted under the supervision of head pâtissier Laslo Mihalyi. |
