Marco Polo hostel
Although the Marco Polo advertises itself as a youth hostel, it is more like a budget hotel, with a terraced, powder blue façade. The lobby area is pleasant and welcoming, with safes available at the front desk. The property houses 47 guestrooms in total. The double and quad rooms are bright and comfy with en-suite bathrooms. Meanwhile, each 12-bed dormitory is 'private', with beds separated by lockers and curtains. Each dorm is also situated next to a dedicated bathroom with two sinks, showers and WC's. There's also an internal courtyard, a small kitchen on the third floor and a laundry room on the first. The restaurant is located down in the cellar, but is large and friendly, offering space to chat with fellow travellers or keep in touch with friends and family back home via e-mail. |
