Intercontinental Hotel
The Intercontinental Hotel is housed in a large, modern, office block-style building on the banks of the Danube. The elongated lobby has plenty of seating and is luxuriously appointed. There is a customer relations desk in the centre with a bar area at the end leading onto the restaurants. The 398 spacious guestrooms feature soothing neutral décor, pleasantly complemented by patterned fabrics and light wood furniture. They are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The Corso Restaurant, overlooking the Danube with a summer terrace, is for intimate fine dining. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is known for its speciality promotions throughout the year and ranks among the top restaurants in Budapest.
