Corinthia Aquincum Hotel
Opened in 1991, the Corinthia Aquincum Hotel is built on the site of a Roman spa, hence its Roman theme. It is one of the top properties in Budapest and despite its non-central location the city centre is within relatively easy reach. The spacious lobby has been newly renovated using marble, polished metal and glass. It includes a central seating area with small boutiques. The 310 soundproof guestrooms feature mainly white and blue décor, complemented by dark wood trims. They are in good condition as are the bathrooms. The Apicius Restaurant is situated to the right hand side of the lobby and serves excellent regional and international cuisine, accompanied by live music every evening. The hotel’s Aphrodite Health & Wellness Centre is supplied by thermal water from nearby Margaret Island and comprises a swimming pool, saunas, steam baths and a modern, fully equipped fitness room. It also offers aqua jogging exercises and wonderful wellness treatments to replenish and harmonise the energy of your body. |
